Beth & Adam - Marble CO elopement
Beth & Adam eloped with just a few friends and family. They had a family connection to a marble quarry in Marble, CO.
Tucked away in the breathtaking Elk Mountains, this intimate elopement in Marble, Colorado was the perfect blend of wilderness, romance, and artistry. Just outside Aspen, Marble is a hidden gem—a quiet escape surrounded by dramatic peaks, rushing rivers, and the town’s namesake white stone. It was the ideal location for this couple’s private “I do” moment.
The floral design embraced the natural textures and colors of the Colorado high country, with soft pastel blooms accented by rich pops of color. We used garden roses, sweet peas, ranunculus, and locally foraged greenery to create a bouquet that felt romantic, a little wild, and beautifully balanced. The florals paired perfectly with the rugged marble landscape, echoing the earthy palette while softening it with an elegant touch.
The couple exchanged vows against a backdrop of towering pines and scattered marble boulders—no arch, no structure, just pure nature and each other. We styled a small floral nest at their feet and added bud vases and candles to create an intimate ceremonial moment. The bride wore a flowy, ethereal gown that danced in the breeze, and her bouquet felt like an extension of the alpine meadow itself.
Every detail was intentional: artful paper goods, a hand-painted vow book, and a simple but beautiful picnic to celebrate post-ceremony. It was a reminder that a wedding doesn't need 200 guests to be full of meaning, beauty, and unforgettable moments.

Married in Marble, CO
Marble & Magic: An Artistic Wedding in Marble, Colorado
There’s something truly special about weddings on private land—especially when they happen in a place as breathtaking as Marble, Colorado. Surrounded by rugged mountains and quiet, forested beauty, this celebration felt like stepping into a painting.
Our couple chose to highlight the natural elegance of the setting with a palette of soft pastels—blush, cream, dove gray—with bold pops of deep plum and berry for contrast. The florals were artful and unexpected: ranunculus, sweet peas, garden roses, and deep-hued scabiosa, arranged in sculptural, asymmetrical designs that echoed the wildness of the landscape.
To honor the location’s namesake, we leaned into marble details throughout the design—from the ceremony backdrop to sleek, marbled table numbers and hand-torn paper goods with stone-inspired textures. It was refined and modern with a wink to the land beneath their feet.
The reception took place under an open-air tent on the family’s private property. Long tables were dressed in soft linen, minimalist gold flatware, and clusters of low floral arrangements set among polished marble slabs and taper candles in antique holders. It was a study in contrast—earthy and luxe, organic and curated.
As the evening unfolded, live music filled the air and the bride changed into a flowing second gown, dancing barefoot beneath the stars. It was personal, poetic, and full of heart.
At Zalea Weddings, we live for celebrations like this—where art meets emotion and every detail feels intentional. This Marble wedding was more than beautiful. It was a love letter to place, to design, and to a couple who wasn’t afraid to do something unforgettable.
