Ali & CJ Wedding - Idaho Springs - Blackstone Rivers Ranch
A Luxe Micro Wedding at Blackstone Rivers Ranch with Dreamy Spring Flowers
When we say this wedding was pure spring magic, we mean it. Tucked into the mountains just outside of Denver, Blackstone Rivers Ranch set the scene for one of the sweetest, most romantic micro weddings we’ve ever had the joy of designing. Think soft breezes, a glowing bride, and pink peonies and garden roses as far as the eye could see.
This couple wanted a day that felt intimate, floral-forward, and bursting with joy—and we delivered! At Zalea Weddings, we designed a lush pink floral palette with layers of blush, fuchsia, soft coral, and creamy ivory using some of spring’s most beloved blooms: peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, and sweet peas. The vibe was whimsical, luxurious, and a little bit fairytale.
The ceremony took place under the trees by the river, with a floral arch that looked like it had grown there overnight. Soft pink petals lined the aisle, and the bride carried the most beautiful bouquet—a fluffy mix of peonies and roses, tied with long silk ribbons that danced in the mountain breeze.
Inside the tented reception space, we kept the garden party going. Tables were set with low, lush centerpieces, taper candles, and gold accents that sparkled in the natural light. Even with a smaller guest list, the celebration felt full of love, laughter, and serious style.
This luxury micro wedding at Blackstone Rivers Ranch proved that going small doesn’t mean sacrificing a single detail. It just means making every moment count—and making every floral arrangement even more fabulous.

Spring Wedding In Idaho Springs
Bold Blooms & Mountain Views: A Spring Wedding in Idaho Springs
Nestled in the foothills just outside Denver, Idaho Springs offers that perfect blend of wild Colorado beauty and small-town charm—and this spring wedding was nothing short of a floral dream.
The ceremony took place in a meadow surrounded by fresh green hills and clear mountain air. But the real star? The flowers. We leaned all the way into the joy of spring with bold, hot pink peonies, lush coral ranunculus, and pops of citrus-toned roses. It was bright, modern, and unapologetically cheerful—just like the couple.
The bride’s bouquet was a showstopper: an overflowing mix of vibrant blooms with wispy greenery, tied together with silk ribbon in the perfect shade of blush. Bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses in shades of nude and soft rose, letting their bold florals shine.
For the reception, we brought in a little elegance with gold candlesticks, soft pink taper candles, and garden-style arrangements in low, footed bowls. The florals danced across farmhouse tables, layered over gauzy runners and surrounded by twinkling glassware. It was modern, romantic, and totally unexpected—a perfect contrast to the rugged beauty outside.
Guests dined under café lights and toasted the newlyweds as the sun dipped behind the peaks. Every moment felt thoughtful, intentional, and bursting with personality.
At Zalea Weddings, we love pushing past the traditional to create weddings that reflect each couple’s energy—and this one was electric. Spring never looked so good.
