Brynn and Stephen came from Texas to the snowy mountains of Colorado for their destination elopement. They braved the extremely chilly weather and exchanged their vows at the top of Winter Park. Bold, beautiful, and breathtaking—this winter elopement at the top of the ski slopes in Winter Park, Colorado was nothing short of magic. The couple embraced the snow-covered landscape with heart and style, choosing to say their vows in one of Colorado’s most iconic mountain settings. With skis strapped to their packs and love in the air, they rode the lift to the summit for an unforgettable ceremony above the clouds.
The bride wore a dramatic black wedding dress, creating the most stunning contrast against the white snow and blue sky. Her bouquet was a winter wonderland of texture--white anemones, pinecones, thistle, ranunculus, dusty miller, and sprigs of evergreen—a mix of wild and refined that fit the alpine setting perfectly. Wrapped in velvet ribbon and layered with moody tones, it was the perfect complement to her unconventional bridal look.
The ceremony was simple, heartfelt, and spectacularly scenic. No arch. No aisle. Just love, snowflakes, and the stillness of the mountains. We added small floral touches in the snow—pops of greenery and winter florals to define their ceremony space without taking away from the landscape. It was intimate, elevated, and full of soul.
After their vows, the couple toasted with hot drinks, laughed in the cold, and took in the view—just the two of them (and their very stoked photographer). The images captured the raw joy and quiet beauty of a mountain elopement done right.
